Good leather covered, 'night and day' watch. Gilt brass shagreen covered double body case, the back with pick work, the winding hole with a shutter. Gilt silver 'champlevé' dial engraved with birds and with the signature, semi-circular aperture with Roman numerals on the edge for the sun and the moon pointers, outer Arabic minute ring. Blued steel minute hand. Gilt brass full plate movement with 'tulip' pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with plain three armed steel balance, English cock. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
