Very fine 18-carat gold pearl set flat watch. Double body case, with split pearl set bezel, the back with an enamel painted Romantic scene with two personnages in a garden, further 'paillonné' decoration and split pearls on the edge. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, Gilt metal hands. Unusual gilt brass flat movement, the barrel and the ' fusée' passing through the plate and secured by a large semi-circular plate, verge escapement, plain brass three armed balance, continental type cock with polished steel endpiece. In good condition. Diam. 51 mm.
