Good 18-carat gold quarter repeating watch with music 'à rouleau' and decorated dial. Three body 'Empire' case with engine turned back and reeded band. Gilt brass cuvette. Gold engine turned dial, the white enamel chapter ring with Arabic numerals, the centre with an enamel painted allegorical scene glorifying the French fatherland. Blued steel Breguet hands. Very fine and rare gilt brass double train movement with free standing barrels, inverted cylinder escapement, plain brass three armed balance. Musical train with pointed cylinder and vibrating steel blades. Striking on gongs by depressing the pendant with visible repeating work. In very good condition. Diam. 60 mm.
