Rare 20-carat gold self-winding watch 'à secousses' with special escapement. Double body polished case. Fine white enamel off-set dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring, subsidiary dial for 'fast/slow' adjustment index and two Cupids painted ' en grisaille' over a pink background. Gold Louis XVI hands. Fine gilt brass full plate movement with column pillars, going barrel, virgule escapement with plain brass three armed balance. The oval platinum weight, pivoted on the edge of the back plate, is locked when the spring is fully loaded. In very good condition. Diam. 49 mm.
