Good 18-carat gold centre sweep seconds stopwatch with a second beating balance and an early form of lever escapement. Double body polished case. White enamel dial with Roman numerals (restored). Blued steel 'trèfle' hands. Fine gilt brass full plate movement with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, Pouzait type lever escapement, very large second beating plain brass six armed balance with steel endpiece. In good condition. Diam. 56 mm.
