Extremely fine 18-carat gold and enamel pearl set centre second watch for the Chinese market. Double body 'demi-bassine' case decorated overall with red and blue translucent 'champlevé' enamelled decoration and inlaid split pearls, fixed bezel, very fine enamel painting of doved and flowers in the manner of Louis DUFAUX on the back. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals. Gold 'cuiller` hands. Finely engraved gilt brass movement, 'Chinese' caliber with free standing barrel, 6 jewels, duplex escapement with plain three armed polished steel balance and ruby endstone in screwed setting. In very good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
