Unusual 18-carat gold hunting cased very flat pocket chronometer. Five body case with chiselled edges, pendant and bow, the engine turned back with engraved scrolls and flowers, the cover engraved with a view of the Messine's harbour and further foliage and floral decoration. Gold cuvette engraved with an equation of time table. Mat silver dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and engraved with a castle on the seaside. Breguet hands. Very unusual gilt brass extra flat movement, 12 jewels, going barrel, pivoted detent escapement with cut bimetallic balance. In good condition. Diam. 45 mm.
