Gold 14-carat gold watch. Massive four body case with festooned band, the back finely chiselled by Georges HANTZ depicting the rapt of Europe, further rocaille decoration in the Louis XV style. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and subsidiary seconds. Gold Louis XV hands. Gilt brass 18- keyless movement, 18 jewels, straight line leaver escapement, cut bimetallic balance with Breguet balance spring. In very good condition. Diam. 55 mm.
