Fine 18-carat gold and enamel hunting cased watch with the portrait and the coat of arms of Charles XV King of Sweden and Norway. Massive four body 'bassine et filet' case, the cover with the enamel portrait of Charles XV painted 'en grisaille' after the painting by Kiorbee with outer champleve enamelled decoration, the back painted with the coat of arms and a similar decoration. Gold cuvette. White enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and subsidiary seconds. Gold ' spade' hands. Nickel plated keyless 18- movement, 'fausses cotes' decoration, 15 jewels, equilibrated straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with Breguet balance spring. In very good condition. Diam. 49 mm.
