Three coloured 18-carat gold quarter dumb repeating watch with a gold chatelaine. Double body engraved case, the bezel with a chiselled garland, the engine turned black with a similar decoration and centred with a very small chiselled allegorical evocation of love. Slightly later gold chatelaine with a key, a seed pearl cross, a small seal, a cloisonne enamelled small book with Arabic inscription and a seed pearl set charm. White enamel dial with Arabic numerals restored). Gold poker hands. Gilt brass full plate movement with conical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with plain brass three armed balance, continental cock and polished steel endpiece, quarter repeating on the case. In good condition. Diam. 44 mm.
