Very fine 18-carat gold pair cased watch. Outer double body engine turned case in a basket work pattern. Plain double body polished inner case. Embroidered small lace with the name of the Borrekens family inside the outer case. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold Louis XV hands. Gilt brass full plate movement with baluster pillars, applied pierced and engraved decoration on the back plate, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass three armed balance with mock pendulum, fine Dutch silver cock with semi-circular aperture and engraved fabulous animals, garnet endstone. In very good condition. Diam. 50 mm.
