Dent, Watchmaker to the Queen, 33 Cockspur Street, London, N° 29531, bearing the London Hall Marks for 1881-1882. Very fine 18K gold hunting cased minute repeating watch.

Four body massive "bassine et filets" polished case, monograms engraved on the cover and the back also engraved inside with dedications. Gold cuvette engraved both sides with dedications. White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel " spade" hands. Fine gilt brass three quarter plate movement with a going barrel, 29 jewels, English lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel balance spring with a terminal curve. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band. Signed on the dial and the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 52 mm.
