Anonymous, Swiss, circa 1870. Unusual 18K gold and enamel rectangular keyless fob watch.

Four body massive "variee" rectangular polished case with cut corners, glazed on both sides. Gold cuvette enamelled overall, a medaillon at the center with two children painted in a garden, the border painted with flowers on a pink ground. Small blue enamel dial with white enamel Roman numerals and scallop edge, pink enamel border with painted cupids on a garland of flowers. Gold Louis XV hands. Gilt brass 10.5" x 13", oval movement, 6 jewels, cylinder escapement with a plain three armed balance. In very good condition. Dim. 56 x 30 mm
