Unsigned, Swiss, circa 1810.Fine and rare 18K gold dead center-seconds, quarter-repeating stop-watch with special escapement.
C. Double-body, "Empire", the back engraved with a Maltese cross on an engine-turned background, glazed gold cuvette. D. White enamel, Breguet numerals, outer minute divisions, winding aperture between 4 and 5 o'clock. Steel and gold "flower" hands. M. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fixed barrel, Pouzait lever escapement with very large plain five-arm gold balance covering most of the back plate, flat balance-spring with regulator.Diam. 55 mm.
