Notes
Absolutely unique, this creation of the «Manufacture» Girard-Perregaux is the only watch in the world to combine a perpetual calendar, the indication of time in 24 different international cities as well as the business hours of four major stock markets.
This timepiece accompanies the rhythm of the international traveller, of the businessman who juggles with time zones. The dial displays the date, the day of the week, the month and the moon phase. The mechanism takes into account the length of each month, even for the leap years and doesn?t require any manual adjustment before 2100. The different times around the world as well as the opening hours of four stock markets ? New York, London, Hong Kong and Tokyo ? are indicated by an ingenious system of two mobile rings around the dial. All these functions are gathered in an elegant case that is remarkably thin given the technical content of the piece.
