D. White enamel with radial Arabic numerals and outer minute divisions. Gold skeletonized ?Cathedral? hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full-plate, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass pierced and engraved single footed cock. Notes

The present watch is unusual in that it still retains its original outer protective case. It is likely that many of the enamel watches of this period would have originally been sold with a case of this type due to their value at the time, however the vast majority have long since disappeared. This most likely because the owners of such horological jewels wanted to show of the full extent of the enameling and thus the importance of the piece.
