?The Grand Vase? Austrian. Made circa 1900. Fine and unusual, large silver skeletonized watch with movement in the shape of a vase, visible balance, silver chain and key.
C. Three-body, ?drum-form?, polished, hinged bezels with catches, glazed on both sides, turned pendant and large bow. D. Convex silver, radial Roman numerals, outer dot minute divisions, center with an engraved rosette. Gold ?spade? hands. M. Vase-shaped, silver, fullplate decorated on both sides with matting and fluting, fusee and chain, baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, steel and blued steel striped visible three-arm balance, flat balance spring, pierced two-footed cock.
