"Art Deco Golden Mirror" Léon Hatot, Fabricants, Paris, (ATO), No. 77996. Made circa 1930. Fine and rare, mirrored glass, "bakelite" and chrome electric Art Deco mantel clock with visible movement.
C. Stepped "bakelite" base made in imitation of wood, chromed movement housing. D. Gilt mirrored glass chapter ring, frosted pierced Art Deco numerals, the centre of transparent glass to view the movement. Black painted Art Deco hands with circular convex chromed tips. M. 91 mm., battery-driven, copper-colored electromagnetic pendulum and magnet casing. Movement signed. Dim. 21 x 18.5 x 11 cm. Property of a French Gentleman
