Haas Neveux & Cie., Genève No. 15294, circa 1884.Very fine 18 K rose gold, hunting cased, keyless astronomical quarter-hour repeating watch with perpetual calendar and phases of the moon.
C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", polished, gold, hinged cuvette. D. White enamel, Roman numerals, outer minute ring, four subsidiary sunk dials: days of the week at 12 o'clock, days of the month between 2 and 3 o'clock, months between 9 and 10 o'clock, seconds at 6 o'clock concentric with phases of the moon and its age, gold "spade" hands. M. 42.6 mm, nickel, 31 jewels, straight-line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued-steel Breguet balance spring, frostewolf-tooth winding wheels, repeating on gongs through activated slide in the band.Stamped with maker's mark inside back cover.Diam. 52 mm.
