Notes

Favre-Jacot, Georges & Cie The company was founded by Georges Favre-Bulle in 1865 after his apprenticeship in LaSagne. The original plant was a small workshop in the Les Billodes section of Le Locle, thought to be where Breguet had his workshop between 1793-96. In 1896 the firm won a medal at the Geneva Exhibition. It later became Zenith, but traded as Favre-Jacot throughout the late 19th century.
