Bowl-form, beaded and laurel borders, concave side decorated with a fine painted on enamel continuous scene of a Swiss landscape with a coach and horses, cupid riding at the rear, translucent aquamarine guilloché enamel band below, raised on four leaf-pattern feet. D. Translucent aquamarine guilloché enamel chapter ring with pale blue, white and gold enamel radial Roman numerals, fleur-de-lys and flowerhead gold paillon quarter-hour markers, the center with a mirror to simulate water and a carved ivory figure of cupid in a silver boat holding a paddle indicating the time. M. 55 mm., frosted gilt, three-quarter plate, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, bimetallic compensation balance with three adjustments, Breguet balance spring, index regulator.
