Pink Gold "Tri-Compax" Universal, Genève, "Tri-Compax". Made circa 1960. Very fine and rare, astronomic, 18K pink gold, water-resistant, gentleman's wristwatch with round button chronograph, registers, triple date, moon phases and an 18K pink gold Universal buckle.
C. Two-body, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, screwed-down case back, curved lugs. Metal dust cap over the movement. D. Matte silver with applied pink gold faceted dart indexes, outer minutes and fifths of a second track with Arabic five minute/second numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12- hour and 30-minute registers, graduation for the date around the moon phase aperture, apertures for the days of the week and the month. Pink gold "dauphine" hands. M. Cal. 281, rhodiumplated, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 14 mm.
