Markwick Markham, Borrell, London, No. 22060, made for the Islamic Market, with the London, circa 1815. Fine 18 ct. gold and enamel triple cased quarter striking clock-watch.

C. Outer double body, glazed, with scallop edge, the bezels with champlevé scarlet translucent enamel decoration. Second double body, with scallop edge, bezels with scarlet translucent enamel decoration matching that of the protecting case, the back of scarlet translucent enamel over engineturning. Inner double body, bassine, bezel and back with matching enamel, the band pierced and engraved with scrolling foliage, a large rosediamond set on the pendant. D. White enamel with Turkish numerals. Gold "poker and beetle" hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate double train with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass cock pierced and engraved with scrolling foliage, diamond endstone. Striking on a bell, the striking train with fixed barrel with revolving arbor. Gilt brass dust rim. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 63 mm.
