C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished, marked "A.S." (Arnold Schaefli). D. White enamel with Roman numerals and sunk subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "pear" hands. M. 19"', frosted and gilt three-quarter plate with going barrel, 17 jewels partly in screwed settings, pointed-tooth lateral lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance with gold screws, free sprung blued steel balance spring with terminal curve, diamond endstone. Minute repeating on gong with slide in the band. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 53 mm.
