C.Three body mahogany box with external brass handles, glazed upper section with hinged lid ( heavily restored). Brass bowl and gimballed suspension. D. Silvered with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down scale. Bhued steel "pear" bands. M. Spotted brass full plate, relieved for the barrel, cylindrical pillars, fusee with chair and maintaining power, Earnshaw type spring detent escapement, Hartnup auxiliary compensation balance, diamond end-stone, free sprung blued steel helical balance spring with terminal curves. Signed on the dial. In very good condition. Dial diam.102 mm. Dim. 19.5 x 19.5 x 19.5 cm.
