C. Four body, "Empiré" with reeded band and engine-turned back, marked "FH(PM" (Frederick Humbert & Philibert Mathey). Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute ring and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Frosted and gilt full plate with turned pillars, fusee with chain and maintaining power, duplex escapement, flat plain polished steel three-arm balance, flat balance spring with bimetallic compensation curb on the index. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial and back plate. In excellent condition. Diam. 61 mm.
