C. Four body, massive, "forme quatre baguettes", polished, marked "S,C" (Samuel Cuendet). Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with bold. Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel " pear" hands. M. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain and maintaining power, Earnshaw spring detent escapement and two-arm compensation balance, diamond endstone and free sprung blued steel helical balance spring with terminal curves. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Diam. 59 mm.
