?Minute-Repeating Clockwatch? Attributable to Louis Montandon, Swiss, No. 2041, case No. 222543. Made for the Canadian market circa 1900. Very fine, hunting-cased, keyless, quarter-striking, minuterepeating, 18K gold clockwatch.
C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", solid, polished, gold hinged cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Cal. 20???, maillechort, half plate, double train, 30 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs by pushbutton on the band. Strike/Silent at 2 o?clock. Case and movement numbered. Diam. 57 mm.
