Charles F. Tissot & Fils, Locle, No. 10008. Made circa 1890. Very fine, keyless, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold pocket watch.
C. Three-body, "bassine et filets", solid, polished bezel, engine-turned case back, reeded band, glazed bezel to view the movement. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold "spade" hands. M. Cal. 20''', maillechort, "fausses côtes" decoration, 33 jewels of which 2 are set in screwed gold châtons, straight line counterpoised lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band. Dial signed, case numbered. Diam. 56 mm.
