Case made from a French gold coin dated 1857, opening by means of the exclusive Cartier concealed device, inner engine-turned fixed bezel, the matted silver dial with Roman numerals and blued steel "Breguet" hands. Rhodium plated, 9"' movement, "fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, straight fine lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, 8 adjustments, Breguet balance spring. Measuring approx. 36 mm. in diam. Cartier Certificate of Authenticity N° 2472.
