Oval gold cased, satiné with polished bevelled borders and band, the back engraved with a sundial with hinged pink gold gnomon and inset subsidiary compass; eccentric matted silver dial with Roman numerals and blued steel bands. Rhodium plated, 9"' movement, "fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, adjusted for temperature isochronism and 3 positions, self compensating balance spring. Measuring approx. 46 x 33 mm. Cartier Certificate of Authenticity N° 2471.
