Silver gilt-mounted rectangular case with canted corners, four sides and top amethystine panels bordered with white champlevé enamelled unes and green translucent enamel over engine-turning, top and base with silver gilt wreath borders, white champlevé enamelled bezel, the white enamel dial with Arabie numerals and pierced gold arrow hands. Brass rectangular movement with going barrels both for the going and the striking trains, gilt brass platform with straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring; striking on a gong. Measuring approx. 15.5 x 8.5 x 7 cm., including the handle. Accornpanied by original fitted leather travelling box. Cartier Certificate of Authenticity N° 2036.
