Rectangular with gold framed nephrite panels, the bezel with black champlevé enamelled decoration, silver engine-turned dial, the applied gold chapter ring with Roman numerals on a white enamel ground, inner moon phase aperture, subsidiary dials for days of the week and dates with inner cornet pointer on a blue enamel revolving disc decorated with a spray of stars, alarm setting disc with sun-burst pointer. Brass rectangular movement with going barrels both for the going and the striking trains, frosted and gilt platform with straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Grande Sonnerie, Petite Sonnerie and alarm on gongs with optional selection lever on the back. Measuring approx. 16 x 11.5 x 10 cm. Accornpanied with original fitted leather box. Cartier Certificate of Authenticity N° 2241.
