"Directoire" gold case, decorated with alternating vertical strips of black champlevé and red translucent enamel over engine-turning, the dial aperture with spring loaded gold polished shutters with a white champlevé enamelled monogram, flipping open and closed by depressing the pendant, revealing the matted silver dial with engine-turned border and blued steel "Breguet" bands. Rhodium plated 16"' movement, "fausses côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, 8 adjustments, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Measuring approx. 45 mm. in diam. Cartier Certificate of Authenticity N° 2142.
