?The Lovers? Jn. Le Roy, A Paris, Swiss. Made circa 1760. Fine and rare, gold and painted on enamel pocket watch with double date calendar.

Two-body, ?Louis XV?, the back painted with a courting scene in the countryside within a foliate border, the inside painted with a bouquet of flowers, bezel painted with continuous landscape, the inside bezel with flowers. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute ring with five-minute Arabic numerals, inner day of the week scale and outer date scale, winding aperture between 3 and 4 o?clock. Gold ?beetle and poker? hour and minute hands, blued steel calendar hands. M. 35 mm., hinged, gilt brass full-plate with pentagonal baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, plain brass threearm balance, flat balance-spring, pierced and chased continental cock, polished steel endplate, silver regulation disc.
