Tiffany & Co., Geneve, No. 10435, circa 1880. Very fine 18K gold hunting cased keyless independent split seconds watch with 1/4 second "foudroyante".

Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished, a stag's head and between the attires a cross pltte engraved on the cover with the motto: Per Crucem ad Coronam, the back engraved with the monogram "A.G.P.". Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer red Arabic minute and seconds rings and sunk subsidiary "diablotine". Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Glazed 20"', double train with differential winding, nickel plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 35 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Split independent seconds with push pieces in the band. Signed on the dial and movement. In very good condition. Diam. 57 mm.
