Signed: Etienne Bordier Fecit, almost certainly produced by Kirks and Schwartz, Munich, circa 1875. Fine large silver and crystal crucifix watch in the Renaissance style.
C. Ten hinged body, silver mounted with faceted 'crystal panels. D. Silver chapter ring with Roman numerals and half-hour divisions, the centre engraved with a rosette. Blued steel single hand. The silver gilt dial plate engraved with a representation of Adam and Eve and Saints in prayer. M. Hinged, shaped gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain two-arm balance without spring, gilt brass pierced and engraved oval cock secured by a screw.The back plate fully engraved in the Renaissance style. Signed on the back plate. In very good condition. Dim. 92 x 60 mm.
