Unsigned, Swiss, circa 1820. Fine silver gilt quarter repeating watch with automaton Jacks.
C. Three body, Empire with reeded band and engineturned back. D. Gold with Breguet numerals on small enamel cartouches. Blued steel Breguet hands. Gold dial plate with applied blackamoors automaton Jacks striking hours and quarters on two bells. M. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance with flat balance spring. Gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Repeating on gongs by depressing the pendant. Diam. 56 mm.
