Notes

This watch is very similar to those produced by Urban Jirgensen in Le Locle at the same period. The case and dial are almost identical, the signature on the cuvette is also however written in Gothic and the movement is constructed with the same ehauche; Jorgensen was using the double wheel duplex escapement and his watches were fitted with a Breguet type bimetallic compensation curb on the regulator index.
