L. Leroy & Cie.,13-15 Palais Royal, Paris, No. 14910, circa 1890. Fine and rare gilt bronze, quarter-repeating full "grande and petite sonnerie " , carriage clock with four quarter- striking Westminster carillon on four gongs and alarm.
C. Gilt bronze, glazed, "Anglaise Riche" with Corinthian columns D. White enamel chapter ring with Arabic numerals and subsidiary alarm setting dial. Blued-steel "spade " hands. Azure blue flinque enamel over silver engine-turned dial-plate. M. Brass, eight-day with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, nickel plated platform escapement with straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued-steel helical balance spring with terminal curves and micrometric index. Four quarter striking, repeating and alarm on four gongs with button on the top, Grande and Petite Sonnerie/Silent, optional lever in the base. Signed on the dial and back plate. In very good condition. Dim. 18 x 12 x 11 cm., excluding the handle.
