M.L. No. 1069, Swiss, made for the Chinese Market, circa 1900. Fine gilt bronze and enamel eight day going small carriage clock.
C. Rectangular, fully decorated with engraved birds and foliage against a turquoise champleve enamel ground, applied gilt bronze foliage decoration on corners and folding handle decorated en suite. D. Brass with Roman numerals on white enamel circular cartouches, the turquoise champleve enamel centre decorated with a rosette. Blued steel fancy hands. M. Gilt brass rectangular with going barrel, platform straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Initials of the maker on the back plate. Accompanied by a fitted box. Dim. 63 x 48 x 42 mm. excluding the handle.
