C. Double body, Louis XVI, polished. B. Small eccentric white enamel with Breguet numerals, and subsidiary date above. Gold hands. silver dial plate engine-turned in a sun-burst pattern, applied with two small enamel symmetrical oval plaques painted en grisaille with sitting maidens, holding a swan, on the left, a cornucopia on the right. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece. Signed on the back plate. Diam. 47 mm.
