Notes

Another watch with centrally placed verge escapement was sold by Antiquorum, Hong Kong, February 20, 2005, Lot 20. The escapement of this watch was not visible when the case was closed. The present watch takes the idea further to allow the escapement to be seen from both sides, creating a very beautiful and mesmerizing effect. The present lot was previously sold by Antiquorum Hong Kong, on June 6, 2000, lot 297.
