Boubon, Palais Royal a Paris, No. 123. Made circa 1815. Very fine 18K gold pocket watch of eight-day duration with ruby cylinder escapement.
C. Four-body, ?Empire?, with Paris discharge marks and Master mark ABA, stepped curved bezel, reeded band, engineturned back cover with polished oval cartouche outlined with dark blue enamel. Hinged gilt brass cuvette. D. White enamel by Droz, Breguet numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel pierced arrow hands. M. 48 mm., frosted gilt, large standing barrel, the wheel cocks with polished steel caps, cylinder escapement with steel escape wheel, ruby impulse pin, three-arm brass balance wheel, flat balance spring, diamond endstone, index regulator. Cuvette signed. Diam. 56 mm.
