?Capucine à Voyages? French. Made circa 1835. Fine steel-plate and brass, eight-day going, hour and half-hour striking Capucine traveling clock with alarm.
C. Patinated steel rectangular with lateral and back doors, bell and five finials at the top, gilt brass anthemion deorated bezel, raised on four turned brass feet. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Brass rectangular full plate with cylindrical pillars, going barrels both on the going and the striking trains, platform lever escapement, rack striking work on the back plate. Pull wound alarm train, striking on a bell. Dim. 27.5 x 12 x 8.2 cm overall.
