?The Miniature Rose? Swiss, probably Geneva, No. 7160, retailed by J. Silvani, 13-14 Kings Road, Brighton and Desoutter, 4 Hanover Street, London. Made circa 1850. Very fine and rare, miniature, 18K gold and enamel pendant watch. Accompanied by a fitted red morocco gold tooled Desoutter box.
C. Four-body, ?bassine?, polished, reeded bezel, the hinged and sprung back cover enameled with a single pink rose. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 15,5 mm (7???), frosted gilt, bar caliber, cylinder escapement, brass threearm balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Cuvette signed by Silvani. Diam. 18 mm.
