LONGINES LINDBERGH HOUR ANGLE WATCH AUTOMATIC Longines, "Lindbergh - Hour Angle Watch - Automatic Version," No. 1350, case No. 33410542, Ref. L 2.678.4, re-edition of the famous navigator's watch, invented by Col. Chas. A. Lindbergh and Longines in 1927, US Pat. 1923305. Made circa 2007. Fine and rare, hour-angle, center seconds, water-resistant, self-winding stainless steel aviator's wristwatch.
Four-body, polished and brushed, hinged case back with inner dedication over glassed inner back to view the movement, revolving reeded bezel with enameled 15 degree graduations, graduated case band, the ball-shaped crown for hand-setting and also the revolving central dial, sapphire crystal. White enamel with black enameled radial Roman numerals for the 12-hour indication, concentric, the 180-degrees in blue Arabic numerals, at the center, revolving matte silvered dial with black Arabic 60-minute markers and red Arabic 15-degree markers. Blued steel Breguet hands. Cal. L699.2, rhodium-plated, oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 24 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometer regulator, hack mechanism. Dial, case and movement signed.
