Very fine 18K yellow gold keyless pocket watch with Jûrgensen's patent bow hand setting, patented in 1867. Accompanied by a copy of the Jules Jurgensen extract confirming its cost of Chf 486.85
Four-body, "bassine", polished, engine turned front and back, Jürgensen's patented bow hand setting, hinged gold for the movement White enamel with black radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. 14''', 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement with elongated fork, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, large index regulator with engraved scale on the center bridge.
