"Futurematic" Jaeger-LeCoultre, "Futurematic". Made in the 1950s. Fine, self-winding, 18K pink gold gentleman's wristwatch with 40-hour power-reserve and back winder.
C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, stepped bezel, case back with screwed- down ring, concave lugs. D. Satiné silver with applied pink gold faceted dart indexes, sunk "guilloché" subsidiary dials for the seconds and the up-anddown indication. Pink gold "dauphine" hands. M. Cal. 497/1, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock- absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 37 mm. Thickness 11 mm.
