HERMÈS SHIP'S WHEEL CLOCK AND BAROMETER PAIR Hermès, Paris. Made circa 1940. A pair of rare and attractive, brass and wood 8-day going clock and aneroid barometer with hygrometer set in the form of ship's wheels.

Cast brass with six wooden handles. Polished brass chapter ring with black Arabic numerals. Black baton hands. The barometer with white dial and colored hygrometer scale. 52 mm. gilt-brass, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Clock case and barometer dial signed Hermes.
